Designed to develop dance technique and style, these classes offer a clear progression from Level 1, and are also suitable if you have experience or are returning to dance. Stephen will teach a Limón/Release-based class focussing on using the floor efficiently whilst exploring the natural reactions of falling, dropping, and catching. She will work with participants to develop a strong centre, allowing the body to move instinctively.

Teacher's Biography
Stephen is the Artistic Director of the San Francisco based Stephen Pelton Dance Theater. He has taught throughout the United States in studios, universities and conservatories for the past 15 years. His class combines the basics of Limón technique with his own lyrical and idiosyncratic movement style. Movement phrases gradually accumulate through warm-up, strengthening and placement exercises into a final longer combination which emphasises movement dynamics, musicality and a passionate use of space.
