Watch EDge present new works by leading dancemaker Matthias Sperling, and James Wilton, 2010 winner of the Sadler’s Wells Global Dance Contest, as well as a specially recreated work by world famous German choreographer Sasha Waltz.

To celebrate the choreography of Richard Alston, The Place and Dance Umbrella jointly commissioned Tony Adigun and Rachel Lopez de la Nieta to create works inspired by the Alston classic Wildlife. Their contrasting responses to that challenge, first seen in London’s Dance Umbrella festival last year, complete the company's repertoire.

EDge’s 12 exceptional dancers, led by artistic director Jeanne Yasko, have worked for months creating and rehearsing this repertoire which showcases the performers’ energy, artistry and technical ability. Your response is the final component to the journey of their development as professional dance artists.
