Tuition Fees
The annual tuition fee for UK and EU (incl Switzerland) full time undergraduates who are new to Higher Education in 2010/11 has yet to be agreed but is likely to increase in line with inflation from the 2009/10 figure of £3,225.
UK and EU students with an existing Higher Education qualification which is equal or higher to that for which they are applying are required to pay the full cost of their fees. For 2009/10 this is £13,690 and is expected to increase in line with inlation for 2010/11.
International students (outside of the EU and Switzerland) will also be required to pay the full ost of their tuition. Again, this is expected to increase in line with inlation from the 2009/10 figure of £13,690.
Student Loans
UK and EU students can apply for a loan from the Student Loan Company to cover a) tuition fees and b) living costs.
Maintenance Grants
UK students can apply for a maintenance grant. For 2009/10 students can apply for up to £2,906. To qualify, your household income must be £25,000 or less.
Conservatoire Bursaries
Cash bursaries up to £1,700 are available per year to UK undergraduate students meeting the requirements of the scheme. The amount you could receive is determined by household income.
Hardship Funds
London Contemporary Dance School manages hardship funds and hardship loans to provide support to students who need extra help from the Access to Learning Fund, which is separate from the Conservatoire bursary scheme. The Access to Learning fund provides small grants (non-repayable) to students who find themselves in financial difficulty during the course of the academic year.
