These classes offer a clear progression from level one and are designed to expand the dancer's knowledge and performance skills by working further on technique and learning the dynamics of movement phrasing. Level 2 is also suitable for participants with experience who are returning to dance. This is a Graham-based class.
Genevieve Grady is an independent dancer, choreographer and teacher, and teaches Graham-based technique on the BA programme at Laban. She has performed throughout Canada, the US and Europe, including aerial, film and site-specific projects, fusion and classical roles with Menaka Thakkar and Ritmo Flamenco, and international performances of 3 solos by the choreographer Deborah Hay.
Bookings are now being taken for the Spring term Sat 7 January - Fri 23 March. You can also attend the class by using your Carnet Card or by dropping in.
Full price term enrolment is £99. If you qualify for the concession rate (£85 per term), bring proof of status to the Classes and Courses office when you attend class at The Place and we will refund the difference.
