The Place is delighted that its artistic director, Richard Alston, has been appointed Chair of Youth Dance England, the national organisation that champions dance for children and young people. Richard Alston commented on his new role: “I am absolutely delighted to take on the role of Chair of Youth Dance England. I believe passionately that dance can change young people’s lives and am eager to champion the organisation’s work, inspiring even more young people to dance.”
