Sue MacLennan Cert Ed
Head of Postgraduate Choreographic Studies
Sue studied dance and drama before qualifying as a teacher and continuing her dance education in the UK and USA. Sue has choreographed over 50 works. She has worked with leading composers, visual artists and video/film makers and as a movement director in theatre. She has programmed work for London’s South Bank, and was a member of Rosemary Butcher Dance Company.  Sue has an interest in new technology and in 2006 she choreographed Just Seconds Before for EDge, the School's Postgraduate Performance Company.  Sue Joined London Contemporary Dance School in 1995. 

Elizabeth Nabarro BA BSc
School Counsellor
Elizabeth studied French and Psychology at Sydney University and the Sorbonne, Paris, and graduated in Psychology from London University. After working for some years as a research psychologist in schools and hospitals, she trained as a student counsellor and psychoanalytic psychotherapist. She has a particular interest in learning difficultiesand eating disorders, and has been working with dancers since 1989.

Rick Nodine BA
Lecturer in Choreography and Improvisation
After completing a Biology degree in the USA Rick trained in dance at Middlesex University from 1991 - 1993. He then studied dance improvisation with some of the leading figures in post-modern dance. Since 1995 he has made his own work as well as collaborating with other artists to create improvised performance. From 1996-2001 he danced with Yolande Snaith Theatredance. Rick joined the faculty of LCDS in 2001.  

Sonia Noonan
Lecturer in Physical Support
Sonia studied dance in Australia and worked professionally as a dancer and teacher  before coming to London to train with Maria Fay. She trained at London Contemporary Dance School from 1975 with Alan Herdman in the Pilates technique of Body Control, and has worked with many dancers from professional companies.

Lauren Potter
EDge Artistic Director
Lauren trained at LCDS and subsequently danced with London Contemporary Dance Theatre for eight years. She became a founder member of Siobhan Davies Dance Company in 1988. Since working as a freelance dancer and teacher she has been involved in a range of dance projects, both staged and televised. Other dance artists with whom she has worked include Ian Spink with Second Stride, Lloyd Newson with  DV8, Yolande Snaith, Jonathan Lunn, Ashley Page and most recently Rosemary Butcher.

Kate Price
Lecturer in Contemporary Technique and Repertoire
Kate trained at the Royal Ballet School and London Contemporary Dance School before dancing with Rambert Dance Company for 10 years. She subsequently worked as a freelance dancer and teacher with companies and schools nationally and internationally including Ballet Atlantic, DV8, Richard Alston Dance Company, Cholmondeleys and the Featherstonehaughs, AMP, Charleroi, Rambert School and the Conservatoire in Paris.  Kate was rehearsal director for RADC from 1996-98.  

Patricia Rianne
Lecturer in Ballet and Music for Dance and LC3 Director
Patricia trained in New Zealand and at the Royal Ballet School, London. Her extensive performance career began as a founder member of Rambert Dance Company. Patricia danced in the UK and internationally until an interest in sports training methods to support and enhance the well being of dancers led her to change the emphasis of her career. Guest teaching and staging commitments have taken her to Europe, China, New Zealand, Australia, Canada, South Africa and Hong Kong.

Sasha Roubicek
Lecturer in Contemporary Technique and Repertoire
Sasha trained at LCDS from 1982-1986. In 1987 she co-founded Reflex Dance Co with Paul Douglas, with whom she toured internationally. She has performed with Motionhouse Dance Theatre, Siobhan Davies Dance, Yolande Snaith Theatredance and was a founding member of Small Bones Dance Company. She has led master classes for companies, vocational dance schools and studios, teaching in the USA, Russia, Britain, Scandanavia and Europe. Sasha is artistic advisor to movingeast and is a senior Akido practitioner of Tetsushinkan Budojo, she is graded 3rd dan. In 2007 she was awarded a Lisa Ullman travel scholarship to Japan to study Aikido.

Jeannie Steele
Lecturer in Contemporary Technique
Jeannie has been a member of the Merce Cunningham Dance Company in New York since 1993, and has performed 36 pieces of Cunningham repertory around the world. She has just completed five years as Merce Cunningham's Rehearsal Assistant, and has taught master classes and workshops throughout the USA and internationally. She trained at the Juillard School, at the North Carolina School of the Arts, and at London Contemporary Dance School. Jeannie is also a Pilates teacher.

Neil Webster GTCL Hons LTCL Cert Nat Sci (Open) Dip Phys Sci (Open)
Chief Accompanist
Neil played at Central School of Ballet from 1985-2000 and began playing at London Contemporary Dance School in 1990, becoming Chief Accompanist in 2000. He has played extensively on the open class circuit, and has played class for companies including London Contemporary Dance Theatre, Rambert Dance Co, Adventures in Motion Pictures and Richard Alston Dance Company. Neil's professional performances have included solo and ensemble work with Rambert, and Richard Alston Dance Company in the UK and abroad.
