Undergraduates may have the opportunity to take part in extra-curricular choreographic workshops during the year. There are also informal studio showings of work during the term.

All students have regular opportunities to work with professional choreographers, these have recently included the dance companies of Trisha Brown, Merce Cunningham, Siobhan Davies, Akram Khan and Candoco.

In the summer term, professional choreographers lead five week residencies, and third year BA students perform a selection of pieces by these world renowned artists, together with their own work, to celebrate their graduation. Selected third year BA students may also have the chance to participate in collaborative courses jointly organised by Guildhall School of Music and Drama and Wimbledon School of Art and Design. Those students work with either a music or a design student to create and stage a piece. This can also be a performance opportunity for their peers.

The third year performance group LC3, shows work in local schools and colleges as well as site specific projects and overseas events.
