These artists were chosen from over 200 entrants who submitted 3 minute entry videos, outlining their idea for a new work.

These entry videos were assessed, unattributed, by a panel of 30 dance experts from 30 different European countries. The 40 best entrants were invited to The Place for an interview, to explore their idea in more depth, and from those 40 the 20 to be commissioned were chosen.
