They spend their year living and working as a professional touring company, working with a full-time rehearsal director, creating a repertoire of works with guest choreographers, and touring nationally and internationally.

This work is complemented with contextual studies, and the dancers are continually assessed towards gained a Postgraduate Certificate in Contemporary Dance Performance. Upon completion of a further term's study and writing a dissertation, they can qualify for an MA in Contemporary Dance.
