These fun and informal classes are for students who have had some previous experience in contemporary dance.  Level 1 is suitable for those who hold a basic understanding of the techniques involved but would like to develop their skills.  These classes strive to build confidence, improve technique and increase participant's dance vocabulary under the guidance of expert teachers. Please note Level 1 is NOT for complete beginners.

Renaud Wiser trained at the École De Danse De Genève in Switzerland before graduating to Ballet Junior in 1997.  In 2000 he danced with the Geneva Ballet in Jean-Christophe Maillot's Romeo & Julliette. After moving to the Ballet National De Marseille where he performed works by Georges Balanchine and Rui Horta, Renaud moved to the Gothenburg Ballet in Sweden.  In 2004 he came to London to dance with Rambert Dance Company and in 2009 moved to the Bonachela Dance Company.  Renaud choreographed two works for the Gothenburg Ballet Workshop; "Fleur de Peau" (2003) and "The Meaning of F" (2004). He also made two works for Resolution! at The Place, London; "At the Border Of You" (2006) and "Fragments of Minds" (2007). In 2008 he created "Allu" for Rambert Season of New Choreography. "Fragments of Minds" was performed in the summer 2007 In Montepulciano at the Cantiere Internazional D'Arte festival.  Renaud has held choreographic workshop at the Rambert summer school in 2005, 2006, 2007 and 2008. He also held various repertory workshops through the education department of Rambert Dance Company in theaters and dance centers around England such as Dance City in Newcastle or Dance East in Ipswich, as well as teaching contemporary classes for adults at Rambert Dance Company.
In 2009 Renaud has been teaching company class for Rambert Dance Company and Bonachela Dance Company as well as a repertory workshop at The Place Summer Intensive, and was giving improvisation and technique classes at Rambert School.  Renaud has taken photographs for Rambert Dance Company and London Musici that have been published in Dance Europe, The Scotsman, and Time Out and have been regularly featured in Rambert brochures and programs.
