Resolution! is an open season of nightly-changing triple bills presenting new dance for the new year.
Tonight's triple bill:
Albert Quesada Solo on Bach & Glenn (A - Belguim)
This dance is based on a written score, a series of instructions for the dancer created in close relationship to the soundtrack (Glenn Gould's explanations about playing on the Goldberg Variations).
Margarita Zafrilla Olayo Itinerarium (F)
Itinerarium questions conventional ways of devising through proposing a set of staged experiences outside the studio that meet and reinvent themselves on the stage. Unrelated individuals unfold unexpected itineraries.
Adiaspora Collective (Chor:Vicki Igbokwe & Alesandra) Frusted (F)
ADiaspora Collective presents Frusted: a breathtaking eclectic dance theatre piece created through the exploration of human conditions as seen from a female perspective. 'Two choreographers, two styles merging to become one'
Resolution! presents new works in three strands:
(F) First Footing - artists new to the season
(E) Evolution - artists returning to Resolution! with new works
(A) Aerowaves - work from continental Europe selected by an international panel to make its London debut
