Essential Alston workshops are led by highly experienced professional dancers from our team of trained animateurs.

Since 1995 our dynamic team of professional dancers and musicians has worked with thousands of people in schools and the wider community across the UK to give them an insight into the Company's work.

Costs
Dance workshop
£200 for a half day (up to 3 hours)
£300 for a full day (up to 5 hours with the same group)
Dance workshop with live music accompaniment
£255 for a half day (up to 3 hours)
£355 for a full day (up to 5 hours with the same group)
NB: Workshop costs do not include VAT or travel, which are additional charges. Should an animateur be required to stay overnight, accommodation costs and a £20 per diem will be invoiced.
Residencies
Short in-school residencies are excellent opportunities for students to engage further with the choreography of Richard Alston and explore their own choreographic practices.

Booking a workshop
Please get in touch to discuss dates and any requirements for your workshop. Once a date has been agreed you will be sent a booking form to confirm. Please allow at least a month between sending in your booking form and the date you would like your workshop to be held on.
Before the workshop date you will be sent a free resource pack about Richard Alston Dance Company with ideas for preparing your students for the workshop and suggestions for follow up activities.
