Entries for the 2012/13 edition of The Place Prize have now closed.

We require that video entries are:

  • Named with your full name eg JoBloggs.mov
  • No longer than three minutes in duration (additional material will not be viewed)
  • 40MB maximum in size
  • At a frame rate of 25fps (this is the normal speed at which a camera will record)
  • .wmv (PC/Windows)or .mov (Apple) files. Both of these can be produced with the free editing software on the respective systems: Movie Maker on Windows, and iMovie on Apple. We have supplied a step by step manual as to how to create these file formats. If you have other editing software feel free to use that. It is only the end product we are interested in.
