Here is the chance to be reacquainted with old friends, explore the building to see the many changes, talk to staff from across the years and hear from current students about their experience of training at LCDS today.

The reunion will be themed by decade, exploring the School’s contribution to contemporary dance over each period by presenting photographs, costumes and other memorabilia from the School’s archive. Although the cupboards are at their bursting point in wardrobe we would love to see your own pieces of memorabilia. Your trip down memory lane will be complemented with video footage from past graduation performances, while current students will recreate works from each decade!

This will be the School’s first ever alumni reunion and is the climax of our Reconnecting London Contemporary Dance School campaign, which has put a third of former students back in touch with us. We have had a tremendous response from our former students, with many coming from afar as New York, Istanbul, Austria and Slovenia for the event. As the Alumni Network develops we have ambitious plans to work with our former students to become the UK’s largest creative network of dance professionals, giving alumni career benefits and opportunities to get more involved with the School.
