Our current research students are engaged in a variety of studies and practices, as can be seen from the following list:

James Boylan  – MA by Research – Somatic practices and choreography. Supervisors: Sue MacLennan and Kirsty Alexander.

Vanessa Mildenberg – MPhil –Text in motion – Motion in text. Supervisors: Dr. Anne Hogan and Jane Boston.

Rosalind Newman* – PhD – Moving spaces. Supervisors: Dr. Henrietta Bannerman and Leslie Satin.

Alex Howard - MARes - investigating somatic practices and improvisation into choreography

* Roz has a long association with London Contemporary Dance School. In 1987 she created John Somebody for London Contemporary Dance Theatre and after a ten-year period teaching and choreographing in Hong Kong Academy for Performing Arts, where she had a company called Dance HK/NY. She is now a freelance teacher and choreographer in New York.
