Hannah Kidd was born in Oxford, and began her training at Elmhurst Ballet School. From Elmhurst, she went on to continue her training at London Contemporary Dance School. While at LCDS, she worked with Hofesh Schechter and Jeannie Steele (formerly of Merce Cunningham Dance Company) and in 2009 completed her Master’s degree with Distinction. Hannah has a keen interest in costume design and has begun designing for dance: her work was featured in The Place Prize 2010. She joined Richard Alston Dance Company in 2007.
