Here's a first glimpse inside our two new, state-of-the-art studios, under construction at The Place.
OK - you have to use your imagination a little.
The builders have constructed a temporary roof over our existing building, and are stripping away the insulation from the existing roof of the building.

Later this month, the steel framework for the new building will be craned into place, and the walls of the new studios built around this. The air-handling plant will then be installed atop a new roof for the building before the temporary roof is dismantled and the fitting up of the studios can begin.
Once completed, the development will create 7000 more studio hours each year for use by young people, students and professional artists.
The project budget is £1.3million, and work is scheduled to be completed early in 2008.
