Each year a new generation of the most promising contemporary dancers come together as EDge to perform commissions by some of Europe’s most exciting and cclaimed young choreographers.

Led by new artistic director Jeanne Yasko, EDge’s 2011 tour showcases
performances by a strong and diverse ensemble of five men and seven women, all trained at the world’s leading conservatoires.

The programme features new pieces by inspiring artists, including Place Prize finalists Ben Duke and Eva Recacha, international dance makers Jorge Crecis (Spain) and Martin Forsberg (Sweden), plus a specially revived version of legendary dance maverick Jeremy James’ signature work My Big Pants.

Each choreographer brings their own unique approach to create contemporary dance filled with energy, sensitivity and technical excellence. From playful and tender to exhilarating and forceful, the varied programme pushes the performers to their limits and will leave you on the edge of your seat.
