The Place has teamed up with justgiving.com so that our alumni can have the opportunity to give back to the School, by creating their own personalised fundraising pages.
Justgiving is an easy-to-use online fundraising website which helps ordinary people raise extraordinary amounts of money. You could get sponsored to dance, run, swim, cycle, get fit, grow a moustache or have your head shaved. The only limit is your imagination.
Simply personalise your page with a photo and a message, then email your page to your friends, family and colleagues. Using your page anyone anywhere in the world can make a donation, by credit or debit card. You can create a page for absolutely anything.
Why use Justgiving?
Setting up a sponsorship page with Justgiving is quick, easy and free, and making donations is 100% secure. Receiving donations from Justgiving is tax efficient for The Place and reduces our administration costs.
You can use Justgiving when you:
- take part in a sponsored event - or you can create your own
- celebrate your wedding, or wedding anniversary
- celebrate your birthday
- wish to raise money in memory of a loved one

When you have completed your sponsored event
If you have raised funds online The Place will receive it automatically. If you have raised your funds offline, please complete a Fund for Excellence donation form and send your cheque, payable to Contemporary Dance Trust, to the: Development Department, The Place, 17 Duke’s Road, London, WC1H 9PY.
