Something Happening for Kids is a festival for you and your children. A day dedicated to dance and creative activities for the Under 10’s.

A day when all the spaces at The Place are filled to the brim with things to explore and dances to see and make.

With your Something Happening for Kids ticket you will see the Theatre show The Bo Diddlers, plus a Family Activity of your choice (see list below) and lots more free drop in events  throughout the day.

Also drop in events on the day include: Say Something Kids (a show by h2dance, Shift and Eleanor Palmer School), Mission Dance: Secret Agents, Brilliant (a Fevered Sleep film), Vera Tussing's Soundbed (a physical sound journey), Breakfast (an interactive film installation by Rachel Davies*) and so much more.
The Place’s facilities cater for all your childcare needs including nappy changing, buggy park, on site café providing food and drinks and chill out zones. 

Please note: for all activities are for children and adults to take part together.

There will be plenty to do and see, and if you would like to book  a combination of activites or add extra activities you can do this at an additional cost.
