Class description:

Designed for complete beginners, this 11 week course serves as an ideal starting point to take your first steps into classical ballet.

This fun and inspirational course will guide students through the key principles, providing a sound knowledge of the basic classical technique and movement vocabulary. Sessions will focus on posture and correct placement of the body, whilst building student’s coordination and confidence needed to progress on to Ballet Improvers.

This class is enrolment only and not available for drop-in.

The course runs from 24 Apr 2017 – 3 Jul 2017, however, due to 2 bank holidays in May, there will be no classes on 1 and 29 May. The enrolment cost of £90 (£78 concessions) covers all 9 classes.

Artist's biography:

Natalie is a Freelance Practitioner for The Royal Opera House and teaches Junior Associates at The Royal Ballet School. She is also an Associate Dance Artist for English National Ballet and Founder/Director of Balletomane, a charitable performing ballet company for amateur adult dancers.
