A whole day of dance fun, performances, workshops, activities and surprises; you'd better be free on Saturday 16 July 2016 because Something Happening for Kids Festival is back for one day and one day only. For this annual event, The Place building is completely taken over by an explosion of colours and dance in all its forms. Every year brings a completely new programme so there's always more adventures to be had and new memories to be made. 

The Place is situated between King's Cross and Euston in Central London.

*all events start on the hour every hour and last between 25 minutes - 1 hour

Hidden Traces; a sound journey discovering the streets around The Place (booking needed)
Weighting: a digital interactive installation by Nic Sandiland
Danceoke: learn some classic dance routines with Brit and Nay
Live band: Rosalita's - Brazilian and Latin rhythms with a twist
Face painting
Figurines: interactive performance
Plunge Boom's Vegetable Nannies (for early years)
Thingamabob; awesome juggling
Soft Play
Project Prehistoric; a roaring Jurassic adventure
Emergency Poet; the world’s first and only mobile poetic first aid service
 

 

Price

Shows cost £8 per ticket or £28 for a group of four

Family dance activities cost £3 per person

Children under 2 go free (please book their spaces at checkout)

All drop-in activities are free.
