Designed for students who have participated in a term or two of the Contemporary Introduction class, this 11 week course increases your understanding of contemporary technique and expands on the basic movement vocabulary learnt in the introduction course, building your confidence to progress to Level 1.
Developing and distinguishing between the key principles of contemporary dance (Graham, Cunningham, Limón and release), classes will introduce new movement vocabulary and build towards longer phrases with varying tempos and rhythms.
This class is enrolment only and not available for drop-in.
The course runs from 24 Apr 2017 – 3 Jul 2017, however due to 2 bank holidays in May there will be no classes on 1 and 29 May. The enrolment cost of £90 (£78 concessions) covers all 9 classes.
