London has four international airports; Heathrow, Gatwick, Stansted or City Airport, each less than anhour away from the city centre. 

Heathrow Airport

Heathrow Airport is 15 miles west of central London and easily reached by road or public transport.More information The Heathrow ExpressThe fastest link between Heathrow and London. Non-stop trains run to Paddington Stationevery 15 minutes, and journey time is approx. 15 minutes. Tickets are available online, at the station or on the train. A single fare to London Paddington costs approximately £10. More information London UndergroundThis is the most cost-effective rail route into London. All Heathrow terminals are in zone 6 and are on the Piccadilly line.  Journey time into central London is 50 – 60 minutes. Underground tickets are available at all stations. A single fare to central London (Zone 1) is £5.70.  Travelcards/Oyster Cards A one-day Travelcard, giving unlimited travel in Zones 1-6, costs £17 (Anytime) or £8.90 (off-peak). Oyster pay-as-you-go fares for zones 1-6 are £5 (Mon - Fri, 06:30 - 09:30) and £3 (all other times). Gatwick Airport

Gatwick Airport is located 30 Miles south of central London. Trains from Gatwick go to either Victoria, St Pancras or London Bridge. Gatwick Express is the fastest rail link between the airport and central London. Non-stop trains run to and from London Victoria every 15 minutes and take 30 minutes.Single fare is approximately £19. Stansted Airport

Stansted Airport is located 34 miles northeast of central London. Trains run from Stansted to London Liverpool Street Station. By trainThe Stansted Express runs every 15 minutes and reaches London Liverpool Street in 47 minutes. Trains depart from Stansted Airport rail station, situated directly below the terminal. London Underground connections are available at Liverpool Street and Tottenham Hale (on the Stansted Express line).More information By bus or coachFast, frequent coaches run from Stansted to London destinations including Liverpool Street, Victoria, Stratford, Baker Street and other central London destinations. All services call at the airport coach station, directly opposite the terminal.More information


London City Airport

London City Airport is situated 9 miles east of central London and is easy to reach by public transport, with Docklands Light Railway service linking to London’s Underground and national rail stations.
