London Contemporary Dance School will be heading across the pond to run auditions in North America and Canada at the end of January. The school will be auditioning for both undergraduate and postgraduate courses.
Studying abroad offers the opportunity for students to make connections in the European dance world and to diversify their educational experience. The undergraduate and postgraduate dance programmes of London Contemporary Dance School are among the most intensive and practically-based anywhere in the world. Our students are given the opportunity to shape their future in dance, discover their artistic voice, and make connections to support their future creative and professional practice.
There are lots of opportunties to collaborate, create and perform work, both with their peers, with world-class professional dance artists from companies such as Trisha Brown, Merce Cunningham, Siobhan Davies, Akram Khan and organisations such as Danish Dance Theatre, SEAD, Guildhall School of Music and Drama, and Wimbledon School of Art and Design.
There will be a representative of the school at each audition to answer any questions or concerns about Visa requirements or funding that prospective students might have.
Take a look at what our students have to say in these short Student Voices videos on Youtube.
There will also be preliminary auditions for PGDip/MA Contemporary Dance (Choreography) a subsequent audition in London may be required.
