The wonderful Bloomsbury festival is back with a smorgasbord of free events taking place in the area and we are excited to be involved in the Ministry of Movement. You will find the Ministry of Movement in a marquee in Russell Square, where there will also be a host of family friendly events taking place over the weekend.
Taking part in Ministry of Movement are four groups from The Place: Shift, the senior youth dance company, Shuffle, the junior youth dance company performing their new work by Katie Cambridge, Scatter, the adult performance company led by Tory East, and the teen contemporary class group led by Akosua Boakye. Also included are performances from the Centre for Advanced Training (CAT), Westminster Kingsway College’s BTEC dance students and London Contemporary Dance School. The performances that are the results of our collaboration with the Wellcome Trust and Westminster Kingsway College students, are choreographed by Neil Fleming Brown for Wayne McGregor | Random Dance.
