Is The Place open?
Our Theatre performance programme and our Classes and Courses programme have returned to full activity with in-person events. The box office is open for in-person or telephone bookings from Tuesday to Friday between midday and 5pm.
In line with government guidelines everyone is encouraged to continue looking after their own health, the health of others around them and those in the community. There are safer behaviours we can all adopt to help reduce the ongoing risk of catching and passing on Covid-19. Can I attend classes?
Yes, our term time in-person classes and courses information can be found here.
You can also access some classes virtually with our pre-recorded classes to introduce you to the fundamental principles of Ballet and Contemporary Dance, and Dancing all over The Place, a creative dance series for children aged 6-10 years.

Can I see performances?
Yes you can! We are excited to have returned to our theatre with a regular season of programming. Details are available here.

Booking Tickets:
Can I hire the building/studios?
We take hires throughout the week. We are asking hirers to consider covid in their activity assessment or method statement detailing how they are keeping their studio users safe.
If you wish to discuss booking, please contact our Visitor Services team to discuss your plans.
Is your bar / café open? Can I use the building to have meetings?
Our theatre bar is open for performances but our daytime cafe remains closed at present. If you would like to hire a meeting space please contact our Visitor Services team.
What is happening in the building in general?
Our London Contemporary Dance School are on site for in person learning. Our studios are busy with public classes and courses. Spaces are open for hire for rehearsals, research and filming.
