A fantastic opportunity to assist in and develop innovative outreach programmes within Primary and Secondary education, and to support in the delivery of our Contextual Programme and Community Projects has arisen at The Place.
In close collaboration with the Creative Learning Producer and Theatre and Artist Development Teams, you will work on the initiation, development and management of performance and participation projects with and for communities around The Place.
This role is central to The Place’s role of developing and disseminating knowledge about best practice in dance teaching and learning both within and beyond the formal education sector. You will have the opportunity to share your knowledge and expertise by teaching and leading workshops and will be supported in this by a highly experienced network of casual teachers, guest artists, choreographers and dance companies.
If you are a self-motivated, organised and imaginative individual who is enthusiastic about sharing knowledge and expertise and exploring new ways in which dance and movement can enrich learning and change lives then this is the job for you.
Salary: £27,000 per annum
