Dadderrs by Frauke Requardt & Daniel Oliver

A messy, chaotic celebration of neurodivergence, parenthood and performance making.

Daniel is dyspraxic and is too slow. Frauke has ADHD and is too quick. They are married and have kids. Join the couple in the Meadowdrome, their fantastical escapist world. Together you will encounter awkwardly intimate interactive actions, strange dances, sweet and surreal songs, and other off-kilter "grown-up" activities. This interactive show invites you to explore, converse and play within the neurodivergent realm Daniel and Frauke have created.

The performance culminates in an open space where audience are invited to interact, reflect and play in the Meadowdrome with Frauke & Daniel.

Age Recommendation: 16+

Duration: Approx. 60mins

Please Note: This performance contains male and female nudity, references to sex, loud music and haze.

Although this is a standing show with optional audience participation, there are seats available should audience members require them.

Dadderrs is Produced by The Place. Co-commissioned by The Sick of the Fringe, Tramway, The Yard and The Place. Creation supported by a Motherworks residency. Supported using public funding by the National Lottery through Arts Council England

"Underneath the chaotic lunacy though, is a rather sweet, poignant look at what binds and bonds partners together in real life." - ★★★★ The List

“There’s method in the madness, an honesty about how couples survive parenthood without losing sight of themselves”. – The Herald

"Within a space that’s chaotic, confusing, and uncertain, emerges a piece of work that’s playful, fun to be at, and easy to be a part of (if you want to)." - Exeunt
