We are involved in the entire lifecycle of dance from education and training to the creative process that leads to conception of new work, through to its creation, production and performance. As we embark on the next stage of our development and delivery of our strategic plan, we have created the new role of Director of Dance Studies. This unique opportunity rarely occurs within our marketplace and we are looking for the best inspirational leadership talent to join our team.
Reporting to the Chief Executive you will be a key member of the Senior Leadership Team. You will be responsible for providing the leadership and management of our staff, delivering the academic strategy, creating a student centric culture that achieves an outstanding experience for a diverse student population. Your responsibilities will include leadership of undergraduate and postgraduate programmes, research and all aspects of academic and student support. You will relish the opportunity for change and innovation and lead the successful delivery of the Periodic Programme Review (2020/21) securing investment and engagement from both internal and external stakeholders.
You will be able to demonstrate impact and profile in the dance community as a leading member of faculty with a strong track record in teaching and/or research and engaging with students to create a positive culture. Your management, commercial and financial skills will be well established, along with the ability to lead and motivate staff and a commitment to ensuring diversity throughout the organisation, empowering people and inspiring students.

Salary will be set by negotiation and will be commensurate with experience in the region of £60-65,000 p.a.
