Future Cargo is a contemporary sci-fi dance show; a strange outdoor spectacle for a headphone-wearing audience. Within a shipping container on a flatbed truck, we reveal a parallel universe, that seems both strange and familiar.
This is Requardt & Rosenberg’s fourth outdoor show. Together they create performance away from traditional auditoriums, making highly visible, unique events with a distinctive format, with past works including Electric Hotel & Motor Show.
‘We envisage creating an impossible internal space that defies the preconception of the viewer. We want to invite an audience into a world they never thought possible’ - Frauke Requardt & David Rosenberg
★★★★★ ‘Mindblowingly weird immersive dance theatre’ – Timeout on Deadclub™, 2017
★★★★ ‘One of the most enjoyably baffling productions I’ve seen in ages’ – Judith Mackerel, The Guardian on DeadClub™
