The London Contemporary Dance School (LCDS) International Summer School offers a taste of life as a student and is perfect for people who are thinking about applying for our undergraduate course at London Contemporary Dance School. Age 16+ years.
Based at our Central London location, the summer school stretches over five full days, starting at 10:00am and finishing at 5:15pm everyday.
Your day will start with ballet or Gaga followed by contemporary technique classes in the afternoon such as; Flying Low and Release-based technique. All classes are led by the world-class teaching faculty from LCDS. To support the technique classes there will be a 2-hour creative session, alongside learning the skills for improvisation and contact improvisation for three out of five afternoons. We will host a Q&A with current LCDS students, a great opportunity for you to ask any questions about the school! There will be a session on our programme structure and audition process. For some of you, you will choose to opt in on an IELTS (The International English Language Testing System) and visa information class.
