Natalie is passionate about mindset- encouraging ways in which dance can be embraced. The movement style of the class will vary in its dynamics and focuses, often juxtaposing variants of each. You will shift from a sensory/yoga based warm up to snippets of clean Cunningham-style lines and shapes, to heavy, breath-driven swings, shifts and falls.
This course is designed for participants aged 60 and over with some dance experience. These carefully planned, fun and engaging sessions will use a variety of dance techniques and improvisation tasks to challenge you physically and creatively. The course will enable dancers to build strength and to develop their technique and musicality at an appropriate pace and level.
