Cohan Scholarship

The Cohan Scholarship was established in 2015 in honour of our Founding Artistic Director’s 90th birthday. It is awarded annually to students from London Contemporary Dance School's BA (Hons) programme, who show excellence in performance and are about to start their third year of study. The Cohan Scholarship is a way of making sure talented students who are on the brink of their professional careers are able to take creative risks and realise their potential as independent artists.

In July 2017, Georgina and Frampton and Conor Kerrigan were awarded the Cohan Scholarship. They are pictured above with previous recipients James Adams and Heather Birley.

Online donation will be available soon, but in the meantime if you would like to contribute to the Cohan Scholarship, please contact the Development Team on development@theplace.org.uk
