This integrative day will develop the consciousness of the relationship between the ‘mover/performer’ and the ‘witness/spectator’. With participants encouraged to move, draw, write and speak to develop skills in self-reflection and refine conscious feedback to others.
A practice of adaptive presence will help bridge the participants' embodied consciousness into relationships with others, to reawaken creative flow and imagination. Join Fabiano Culora, to explore themes such as, grounding, emotional adaptability, seeing and being seen, connecting to holistic awareness.
Fabiano Culora has been working with performers since 2001 though interdisciplinary somatic practice, exploring bodymind awareness and preparation for creation and performance. Applying principles from Authentic Movement, BMC, Body&Earth, Yoga and Somatic Psychology to performative improvisational practice, a work has arisen which enables performers to develop adaptable qualities of emerging presence from a supported embodied relational consciousness. He has held faculty positions in UK conservatoires (currently at Northern School of Contemporary Dance) and works with performers in professional contexts. He has taught throughout the UK, Europe, as well as USA, Russia and Iceland. Fabiano also has a private practice working as a Somatic Movement Therapist in Leeds.
