Our popular Choreolab programme returns this February half term with a London Contemporary Dance School Experience Day. Have you ever wondered what a student at London Contemporary Dance School gets up to everyday? Would you like an opportunity to experience a typical day of full time training? Then put Tuesday 13 February into your diary and join us for a one off intensive experience.

You will be guided through a range of practical technique classes and be introduced to somatic and creative processes throughout their day. Immerse yourself in our buzzing building, meet London Contemporary Dance School students, ask them your questions and feel like a full time student for the day.

Please Note: Participants are expected to have a basic understanding of Ballet or Contemporary dance technique. These workshops are not suitable for beginners.

11 -14 years timetable:

10.30 - 11.45am:   Ballet Barre and Conditioning

11.45 - 1pm:          Contemporary Technique

1 - 1.45pm:            Lunch and talk with the students

1.45 - 3.30pm:       Introduction to Improvisation and Creative Workshop 

Iris Thomlinson Fund:

If you are unable to afford the fee we can discuss methods of payment further. Financial contributions through the Iris Tomlinson Fund can be applied for through a means tested application form. You can request a form by emailing us at The deadline to return this form is Friday 9 Feb.

Half Term Activities

Join us for a jam packed day of activity this February half term. On Tue 13 Feb, young dancers between 3-19 years of age will be welcomed to The Place for a one off day of workshops and activity.
