Fast paced, challenging classes for advanced students competent in contemporary or ballet. Emphasis is on building movement sequences, stretching your facility and versatility.
Classes comprise of a variety of exercises at the barre, enabling students to warm muscles and mobilise joints whilst refining technique. The class continues in the centre with port de bras, adagio, Pirouettes and jumps in preparation for allegros and travelling sequences and combinations across the floor.
Charlotte Broom trained at The Hammond School and Royal Ballet School and after graduating from Elmhurst Ballet School, she joined the Wiener Ballet Theatre. In 1992, she moved to Northern Ballet Theatre where she was a principal artist from 1997-2000, performing the title role in Carmen, Cinderella, Giselle, Romeo & Juliet and Don Quixote.
As a freelance performer, she has worked with Cathy Marston (Ghosts, Arcanca, Traces & Shore, Spell D)us(T ) and Will Tuckett's Pinocchio. She was recently in the Pet Shop Boys and Javier De Frutos' The Most Incredible Thing.
