Technique / Style:
Pippa’s class is a contemporary ballet class, no barres, and hopes to break down the tension dancers may have around ballet so that the technique feels more accessible. At its heart is a joy of moving, a respect for each individual and the intention to help dancers connect phrases with assurance, eloquence and power.

About Pippa

Royal Ballet trained, Pippa danced with Bayerische Staats Oper, Sadler’s Wells Royal Ballet, Nederlands Dans Theater and Hofesh Schechter Company.  In 2002 Pippa joined the faculty at the London Contemporary Dance School and completed her Master of Arts in Dance Training and Education. She now freelances; teaching for companies and conservatoires, mentoring independent artists in dramaturgie and performance, and collaborating with Ben Duke as creative adviser and rehearsal director for Lost Dog.
