Primary Schools

The Place offers tailor-made dance and cross-curricular projects that can introduce lesson or topic material, or revise, extend and enhance it in exciting ways. We work closely with teachers’ existing planning to design bespoke projects – big or small – that answer the needs of children and the school, bringing our dance and teaching expertise to inspire teachers and pupils, and enrich learning. Projects can be developed from any starting point or topic and can lead to the creation of performance work if desired.

"A wonderful experience for all three classes. The project linked with topics, taught skills and creativity and worked towards a sharing session." Primary Headteacher

To discuss your requirements and project ideas please contact our Creative Learning Producers, Peter Laycock or Maria Ryan by emailing or email learning@theplace.org.uk.
