Eddie Nixon Artistic Director of The Place says,
"Whilst our building has been closed we have continued to support artists to make, reflect, dream and mourn. We have been inspired and energised by how artists have found ways to create and meet an audience online, so we wanted to give a context for these works, alongside some first live experiences in our theatre once again. Blending live and digital work in this way is an experiment for us, and we hope it will enrich our programming into the future. This is the first time for 30 years that we won’t open up our theatre in the new year to the joys and challenges of Resolution. We look forward to its return in 2022 and hope this alternative programme will throw up surprises of its own."
