WHAT is Resolution Festival 2022?
For Resolution 2022, we are trying something new. We are offering you two configurations for how to set up your performance space:
1) Traditional, end-on theatre set up with all audience members in the main seating bank. Audience capacity 288.
2) In-the-round set up with audience sat on chairs on stage on three sides, and the remainder of the audience in the main seating bank. Audience capacity 288.

Due to the nature of the festival setup, we are unable to support work which is durational, site-specific or limited capacity.
Please note: If your application to Resolution is successful you must agree to not show the work 3 months either side of the Resolution performance date.
WHEN is Resolution Festival 2022?
Resolution 2022 will take place from Fri 6 May – Fri 10 Jun 2022.
All applicants can expect to hear back by mid-Dec 2021.
All* successful applicants will need to be available for compulsory workshops on the following dates:
*The Welcome and Briefing Meeting is compulsory for ALL Resolution 2022 artists. However, the Marketing and Technical workshops are only compulsory for First Footing companies (i.e., companies who are presenting their work for the first time at Resolution.) Evolution companies (i.e., companies who have presented their work at Resolution before) do not have to attend these two workshops but are encouraged to.
WHERE is Resolution Festival 2022?
Resolution Festival takes place at The Place, London’s creative powerhouse for dance development.

HOW can I apply to take part?
To apply simply complete our online Google form by midday Tue 30 Nov 2021, we just need to know who you are, what you want to make, and how you plan to do it.
Please note we cannot accept applications outside of the allocated application period.
At the bottom of this page you can download a practice application form. We advise you to use this form to complete your answers, then copy and paste into the application Google form, which you can find HERE. We will only accept complete applications received through Google forms.
