These fun and informative classes are for students who hold a basic understanding in contemporary or ballet and would like to develop their skills - building confidence, improving technique and increasing dance vocabulary.
They comprise of a variety of exercises at the barre, enabling students to warm muscles and mobilise joints whilst refining and developing technique. The classes continue with combinations in the centre, culminating with allegros and travelling sequences across the floor. In addition to developing ballet technique, these classes focus on developing students' performance quality and response to live music, exploring different rhythms and phrasings.
These classes are not suitable for complete beginners and students should have some experience in ballet or other dance forms.
This course will run from Monday 8 – Friday 12 August, 10am – 11.30am each day.
The course fee of £65 covers all five classes
