Based on a classic 19th century Indian performance text, this dynamic solo combines Bharatanatyam and contemporary movement, theatre, music and stunning visual design.
Created and performed by Divya Kasturi To Varnam...With Love is fuelled by her signature physicality and distinctive voice exploring notions of intoxicated love, rejection, denial, memory, lineage, devotion to a myth, a God, a way of moving and being.
Divya Kasturi will be leading two workshops on Sun 5 Apr that give participants a chance to learn and build on their knowledge of the core principles and techniques of Bharatanatyam.
