Centre for Advanced Training Taster Sessions

Are you aged between 10 - 16 years, or know someone who is? Do you enjoy dancing and want to learn more? Come along to our Centre for Advanced Training (CAT) Taster Session running on Sat 5 Mar & Sat 12 Mar.

Centre for Advanced Training (CAT) is a pre-vocational dance training programme for young people aged 11-18 years, which runs on Saturdays and some weekdays during term time.  The programme offers classes in contemporary, ballet & creative, choreographic workshops and residencies, performance opportunities, theatre trips and physical and mental health support and provision. CAT is funded by the Department for Education Music and Dance Scheme, which enables any young person with a passion for dance, regardless of their background or personal circumstance, to join this wonderful programme.

What can I expect from the Taster Session?

• It is held at The Place, central London, in one of our state of the art studios.
• Enjoy a dance class with a live musician and an experienced, friendly teacher.
• Receive an informative but short presentation from the CAT team (Vicky, Irad and Brittany) to learn more about the Centre for Advanced Training Scheme.
• Have the chance to ask any questions you might have about CAT. 
• Get to know The Place building.
• Meet other people who are your age who are like-minded.
• It is free to attend!

Book on to either Sat 5 Mar or Sat 12 Mar for the right age group and we will see you there!
