Class description

Designed for complete beginners this course serves as an ideal starting point to take your first steps in dance.

Students are guided through the key principles of contemporary dance in energetic and stimulating sessions, which encourage creativity and physicality. These fun sessions provide participants with a sound knowledge of the basic technique, movement vocabulary, coordination and confidence needed to prepare them to progress on to Improvers or Level 1.

This class celebrates movement with specific emphasis on embracing group dynamics, developing musical appreciation and encouraging participants to enjoy moving. Combining her skills and expertise as a dance movement therapist with a philosophical view to dance, performance and education, Hagit encourages an emotional and experimental approach to dancing.
