Dadderrs The Lockdown Telly Show

Frauke Requardt & Daniel Oliver

Sorry, you missed this event, SIGN UP to get information on our forthcoming shows

Daniel is dyspraxic and is too slow. Frauke has ADHD and is too quick. They are married and have kids. You are invited to join Daniel & Frauke in the ‘meadowdrome’ - the fantastical escapist world they have created in response to their experiences as neurodivergent parents.

Dadderrs the Lockdown Telly Show reimagines the awkwardly intimate and dysfunctional activities of their live show Dadderrs, adapting it for the current climate. Filmed in their own home during lockdown, it is a curiously poetic diversion combining dance, discourse, absurdity and realism. As the nation slowly emerges from lockdown, Dadderrs the Lockdown Telly Show will documents an era of a strange and alien reality.

Working with artist and film-maker Susanne Dietz, Requardt and Oliver will have created 11 episodes, available on this page and The Place's YouTube channels. Together they experiment with what creating art under social distancing rules looks like, while also contemplating the user journey and how audiences may interact with digital content.

The boxset is available to watch until 21 Aug 2020. So tell your friends
