As a child Dan lost a holiday camp dancing competition.

This is his chance to right that wrong. It will be what he would have done had he known better, been a little braver, got the music choice he wanted.

VENUS will be an opportunity for us all to win, if only for the duration of one song by an 80’s girl group.

About Dan Watson

Dan Watson is an artist working somewhere between dance, performance and messing about. He has worked with such artists as Gecko, Wendy Houstoun, Nigel Charnock, and StopGAP amongst others. Solo work includes Semi Detached, Sweetest Things; and the duet Jacket Dance. Other choreographic work includes Rita, Sue and Bob Too (Out Of Joint), Dancehall (CAST), The National Commemoration of the Battle Of The Somme. Currently he is associate director for Thank You Very Much, a new ensemble work by Glasgow based artist Claire Cunningham.

He has met Hugh Jackman. He was lovely. See, dreams do come true.
