Alongside their fantastic performance in the theatre Räserbyrån will be offering a fun filled workshop. With a playful environment scattered with paper bags, they will encourage you and your youngster to listen, see and move together. Children will be encouraged to discover and experience at their own pace in a fun and entertaining setting. This is the perfect introduction for first time movers to explore shape, space and rhythm - a creative workshop that you will both enjoy!
All participants must be accompanied by an adult.
Open Level - No previous dance experience needed.
Räserbyrån is a dance collective based in Stockholm, Sweden. It’s founding members, Katarina Eriksson, Håkan Mayer and Per Sacklén, established the collective in 1997. Their work evolved from a vision of finding new ways to create movement based performances and a meeting place for different art disciplines. In 2008 they choreographed their first performance for children. They have created three celebrated shows for young audiences and this continues to be a focus for their work.
When not working with Räserbyrån; Katarina, Håkan and Per are active on the Swedish freelance scene as dancers, teachers and choreographers. Räserbyrån regularly performs in Sweden and overseas.
