Don’t miss this exciting opportunity to be part of a unique dance project choreographed by Hagit Yakira performed at The Place on Saturday 09 July 2016, as part of Big Dance 2016.

Take a moment to think about ‘falling’; to bend your knees, reach for the floor with your hands and torso, and just let go...

Explore the notion of falling and recovering with Hagit over an 11 week period and create an improvised and interactive promenade performance.

Poetic and subtle, Hagit’s choreographic style promises an emotional, honest and human experience in which participants will share connected moments of memories, off-balance and freedom in the act of falling.

Rehearsals feature live music with a new composition created by Sabio Janiak.

The project is open to anyone aged 16+ who wants to be part of this creative journey and perform in one of Britain’s busiest dance theatres.

Rehearsal period:

  • Wed, 27 Apr – 6 Jul 2016. (1.5 hr evening rehearsal)

  • Sun 26 Jun 2016 – all day

  • Sun 03 July 2016 - all day
