"There was a lovely physical/ performative differentiation between sections that were the life of the subconscious mind, and sections that seemed more bound to the moving, sleeping body. (...) The piece had a Mitteleuropa/ fairytale/ early psychoanalytic quality; and something robust and straightforward, in its engagement with its subject matter, that was really disarming."
Isabel Carr, for Agony Art Platform at Chisenhale Dance Space, June 2014

An exploration of the world of dreams. Three characters delve into the subconscious through dynamic, frenzied movement sequences. Their stories and emotions are intertwined with the sound of the life accordion.

"It is a rare pleasure in the performing arts to find a work that engages you in such a multi-sensory way." Caitlin McDonald, Everything Theatre

Tapping into imaginative spaces within material realities, the work follows one person’s quest for disentanglement. But often, the more you untangle something, the more tangled it becomes. It’s a ropey business.

Elise Nuding is a dance artist, a mover and a thinker whose creative practice includes performance, choreography and writing. She holds a MA from London Contemporary Dance School and a BA from Brown University. Her research explores relationships between place, memory and people, with a current focus on the embodied knowledge of labour practices.

Vote for Me!

Politicians do a lot of talking, but they don’t do much moving. Colin and Sheila, your local MPs, dance their way to election night. Who gets your vote?

Yann Allsopp is a Lecoq trained physical theatre practitioner. For Resolution! 2015 he presents a dance-theatre piece that looks at who we vote for and why we vote for them.
